Return the Love
Your mom has given you a lot, so what are you giving her for Mother's Day? Western Union is encouraging people to Return the Love this Mother's Day. With Western Union you can now send cash in the form of a gift card. You can send one to your mom this year to make sure she gets just what she wants!
I am not sure how you feel about giving or receiving gift cards as a present, but I love it! It is like two presents! The item I buy and the shopping trip to buy it. I think shopping is more than half the fun, especially when I get to do it alone without any kids in tow!
To celebrate your Mom and the Return to Love campaign with Western Union, you can share the best thing about your mom on their Facebook page, you can share a picture of you and your mom on their Flickr group, and you can enter to win a $50 Western Union gift card here! I get to give away FIVE of them!!
To enter to win one of the $50 gift cards (that can be used anywhere that accepts Visa), leave a comment here on this post. Tell me what you are getting your mother for Mother's Day, what your children could to to Return the Love this Sunday, or just what you would do with an extra $50!
For more entries:
Head over to Facebook. 'Like' the Western Union Facebook page and leave a comment HERE.
While you are there, you can 'Like' my page if you want to as well! Already have, that counts too!
Check out the Return the Love Flickr page and upload a picture of you and your mom and you get one more entry!
You can even get an entry for being a Follower of my review/giveaway blog (that is this one!)
Make sure to leave a separate comment for each of these entries!
You can enter until midnight Eastern time on Saturday May 8th. I will pick five winners on Monday, May 10th. Winner will be chosen at random from all entries received, but only one gift card per winner (you can't win all 5...sorry).
Good luck and Happy Mother's Day!!

ReplyDeleteOh man, if I had an extra 50 bucks, I would go buy me a new outfit!! I just had a baby, and still can't fit into my old pre baby clothes, so I wear atheletic pants alllll the time! And I'm sending my mom $$ so she can go get a pedicure!

My mom is getting potted plants for her porch and the kids are making our traditional white chocolate covered blackberries.
ReplyDeleteHehehe...I am WAY ahead of the game. Last week, when hubs took a business trip to where my parents live, I sent Mom's mother's Day gift along with him - a ricrac dahlia brooch. Ssssh...it's a secret!
ReplyDeleteWell not to make this a sad comment but my mother passed in 2002 when I was 30 so Mother's day is no longer the same. Her birthday is also in May so for Mother's Day I will go to her gravesite and leave Daisies, her favorite flower. I will also travel to see my Mother in-Law and give her some gardening items. Her birthday is also this weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you!
I made my mom a frame to go along with some flowers!
ReplyDeleteI am your Facebook Fan!
ReplyDeleteI like the western union FB page!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower, and a FB "like"-er!
ReplyDeleteMy mom got a silver birdie thing, where you put a lemon wedge it it, press the birdie wings, and the lemon juice comes out the beak. It sounds weird, but it is SO adorable, and she went nuts. I don't see her too often (distance), so she got her gift a little early-- the last time I saw her!
I bought my mom pictures to hang in her room. I bought my mother-in-law cute outfits. For me...my daughter told me tonight to stay in bed Sunday morning so she can bring me breakfast. That's perfect!
ReplyDeleteIf I won a gift card for $50.00, I would gie it to my mom (and dad) to use as they as going through some rough times right now. (as a lot of people are). We 5 kids (adults) are giving to them like we know that they would do for us.
ReplyDeleteEveryday is Mothers day for me as I still have her (and dad) and the best thing is they are only 5 minutes away from my house. Now that is a blessing in itself.
Thanks for a perfect give away.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL!

ReplyDeleteThanks again!
I think what my mom would like most for mother's day is to have all of her kids together but my husband and I live in another state. But she is getting a new granddaughter in August and is coming to visit me in a few weeks. I would use the gift card to spoil her while she's here visiting. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am a follower too!
ReplyDeleteI "liked" the facebook page!
ReplyDeleteI would probably give it to my mom for Mother's Day so she could buy a new outfit.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower.
ReplyDeleteI am buying my Mom this super cute set of bracelets ...fun and colorful. If I win the gc, I am buying myself the same set :-). Yep, thay are that cute! Thanks for the chance. Happy Mother's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteI like your FB page.
ReplyDeleteI love giving gift cards too - especially to family and friends who don't live in the same state as me. My mom lives in another state so a gift card is the way to go. I gave her one to her favorite restaurant for her and my dad (Red Lobster) and a gift card to use at her favorite department store.
ReplyDeleteIf I win the 50.00 Western Union card - I think I will use it to spoil a friend/mom in my ward who is a single mom of 5. I bet she could really use it.
thanks for the chance! :)
i could definitely use $50. Not for me though. My kids shoes have holes in them (not to mention too small as well!). That would make my mothers day! To no longer have to see my kids toes through their tennies!
ReplyDeleteHappy mother's day to you Lorie!
And happy birthday to the boy!!
super mega major slacker here...an ecard? Probably some kind of gift card. :p And from my hubby/kids, I asked for silverwear. Not even anything fancy, we're just running low. I know, I am so boring and practical!
ReplyDeleteOooh and I'm already a follower of this blog. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are treating my mother to a facial - she deserves an hour of quiet pampering!
ReplyDeleteOOOh! Cant wait! :)
ReplyDeleteWon't actually see my mom till she gets back in June, so luckily I have a few extra weeks to get her something. She likes to support women and those in third world countries, so will look for something along those lines.

I got my mom a watch for excercising. She has heart problems. She'll "heart" it. Would it be so bad if I kept the gift card? We've had to buy a new car and a new air conditioner for our house in the past month. I could use a break. Kim in Boerne, TX
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I'm getting my mom or what I want from my kids, but if I had $50 I'd get some of my blog printed as a book. It's basically a scrapbook filled with pictures of my family!

My sisters and I are taking my mom to Vegas!! We've never gone on a trip just us girls, and now that we are all starting our own families we wanted one last vacation just us! Last year this time my middle sister was diagnosed with kidney failure and my mom has been working hard to help her. The youngest JUST moved out of moms house, and now its a bit empty for her. The oldest (me) is trying to have a baby and wont be able to do Vegas again for a long time. We are all so excited! I could use the 50.00 towards a show for us...or mani pedis at a spa!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm following this blog! I could really use that mani pedi in a Vegas hotel spa...and so could mom :)

ReplyDelete~Tootles!
I'm getting my mom a couple of cute bird figurines. I normally get her a potted plant, but her house is starting look arboretum-like. I thought I'd switch it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteMy kids could help me get my plants moved and in the dirt before summer hits!!! It's like 85 degrees already. Crazy.

ReplyDeleteBut the post that caught my attention was from kindhearted Miss Anne, who says she'll use it to buy Mother's Day flowers for an elderly woman without family. If I win, I'd like to do something like that. In fact, maybe in some small way, all of us here might think about doing something nice like that for someone, don't you think? Thanks for the giveaway and -- even if we don't win -- thanks for the inspiration, Miss!
