Appliance Art Review and a Giveaway

***Thanks to everyone for entering.  The winner was announced HERE***

I am cheap at heart. Which means if I have a dishwasher that works perfectly fine it isn't going to be replaced just because it is ugly.  And that would be the case even if we owned this house.  But since it is a rental, there is no chance we are replacing the working dishwasher.  I like my landlord, but not that much!

I have seen people cover the front with tin tiles or even wallpaper.  Not too much work, but again, not my dishwasher to wallpaper.  But a magnet on the other hand, THAT I could do.  It is super easy to install and it comes right off.  No proof that it was ever there.

And these guys make them:

Appliance Art has a ton of solutions for your ugly dishwasher.  And your ugly fridge.  They sell a film that looks like stainless steel:

Pretty clever and a great inexpensive fix.  But when they offered to send me one to review I had to go with this:

This beauty was a huge magnet and was really easy to install.  I am actually going to trim mine a little and then I will show you the finished product.  It looks really great in person.  Like someone painted on my dishwasher.  My husband didn't know about it until he saw it on the dishwasher and I had to peel it off to prove it was a giant magnet.

We don't usually share the same design taste (another reason temporary is best for us) but he really liked this a lot.  I took it down to trim it yesterday and he was worried that I was taking it down permanently.  It is a really fun addition to the kitchen.  One that is liked by everyone.  It does make the kids ask for lemonade a lot though.

They come in a ton of different sizes and designs, and if you don't have a metal front they include adhesive.

They come in all sorts of styles and patterns:

and they even have some fun ones like a dry erase image for kids:

And a huge calendar for your fridge:

And again, all magnetic.  Nothing is permanent.  You could put up the dry erase board while you were making dinner and then roll it up when you have guest over.

Appliance Art has offered to give away one to my readers.  Leave a comment here and tell me what appliance in your home needs an Appliance Art makeover for a chance to win your choice of an 18 x 22.5 piece of Appliance Art.

For a second chance to win, head over to Appliance Art and tell me which of their many designs you would want for your kitchen.

You have until midnight Friday July 30th to enter.  Winner will be announced on Saturday July 31.

Good luck!
